Världsmästarcykeln in new colours

Most of the time we use black paint in the printshop but it is something special with colour as well.

It’s really exciting when we stand there with the primary colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, white and black and try to concretize the idea of a colour we have in mind.

Here is the new colours, GREEN, BROWN and VIOLET

Early Bird – art and breakfast

Here in Skåne it´s a tradition since the sixties that artists open up their studios during Easter. It started at Österlen with ÖSKG and this year we joined the tradition and opened up our studio – at least two mornings. And we can tell you it was two wonderful mornings with a lots of nice visitors and a realy nice guest artist, LEJONLINN. Maybe we do it again next year!

Jussi on the wall

This is our version of the design classic. We call it Jussi.

Kotten, the first printwe’ve ever done together as jolllygoodfellow, hera as poster.

Screen printed by hand on heavy uncoated swedish paper. Available both in off-white (Munken Pure 240g) and white (Munken Lynx 240g).

re-use!

For a long time we have been thinking of how to re-use all the proof textiles. They are like a visual history of jollygoodfellow. Old and new prints side by side and on top of each other. Now we have started to cut out squares, and we are thinking of having them as scarfs! And maybe we will add an extra print to some of them.

Visitkortsfabrik / 3d-grafik

Den här gången provade jag att trycka visitkorten på baksidan av en gammal tapet, den kommer från Esas mammas källare, räddade några gamla rullar när hon skulle flytta. Provade att lägga de uppskurna korten i press för att få dem plana (inget resultat) men när de väl var tryckta kändes den ofrivilliga 3d-effekten som ett plus!

De vilsna männen har hittat till signerat. Vi har tryckt dom med en liten tryckapparat från Japan, en Print Gocco och de får vara en liten kommentar till julens konsumtionsbudskap (som vi allt för ofta går på).
