Now and then we experiment with other material than paper. When Maria Richardsson, Studio Latitud, asked if we would like to collaborate we definitely wanted to try if it was possible to transfer our motives onto the round surface of a mug.
Together we developed the form of the mug. Maria did some research on different types of clay paint. We picked some of our motives that we thought could work nice with the cylinder shape. After a lot of experiments in the printshop with screen printing clay paint on tissue paper and even more in the next step: applying the print on the newly thrown mug.
And here they are! Birds, Bikes and Woods mug!
